Jake Sloan leads the global insurance practice at Appian, where he champions the use of advanced technology to revolutionize the insurance sector. With decades of experience, Jake specializes in the application of AI in insurance process automation and low-code development, helping insurers to significantly improve operational efficiency and elevate the customer journey. He has been instrumental in steering some of the world's largest insurance companies through complex digital transformation initiatives.

In his role at Appian, a company consistently recognized for its innovation, including its inclusion in the 2024 InsurTech100, Jake oversees the global insurance business and collaborates with industry leaders to implement transformative solutions like Appian Connected Underwriting and Connected Claims. His prior experience includes senior leadership positions at Farmers Insurance and serving as CIO for Aon National Flood Services. Jake is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and holds an MBA from Baker University.
